WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 21, 2025) – SHIA is proud to announce the latest installment of its highly acclaimed culinary series, "A Taste of Adventure," in partnership with YETI. This exclusive, limited-seating dinner, titled "Flavor of Fullness," will celebrate the personal vision of rising star Chef Minji Park, developed in collaboration with her renowned mentors, Chef Ji Hye Kim and Chef Eunjo Park.
The event, taking place at SHIA on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, is a story on heritage and belonging. The 5-course menu is a thoughtful dialogue that connects the spirit of Korea’s Chuseok (harvest festival) with the communal gratitude of American Thanksgiving. Chef Minji Park, inspired by the transformative power of her mother's seasonal cooking—where a humble ingredient like moo radish could be used, reused, and reborn in countless dishes—showcases simplicity in spirit, yet complexity in execution.
The menu is an intimate journey into the Flavor of Fullness, illustrating how cooking honors the season and the land. Guests will experience elegant, contemporary dishes that capture the warmth and contentment of family gathered around the autumn table.
“Thanksgiving always stirs something in me, reminding me of Chuseok: the gathering, the gratitude, the warmth of people sharing a meal. In this menu, I wanted to capture that connection—to celebrate both holidays as one shared story of the season, full of flavor, fullness, and belonging” said Chef Minji Park
The dinner is part of SHIA’s ongoing commitment to showcasing diverse culinary voices and fostering innovation through mentorship. Due to the intimate nature of the event, seating is highly limited.
