SHIA is a modern Korean fine dining restaurant in Washington D.C. focused on sustainability and innovation. We are a tasting menu only restaurant with ingredients that span our local agriculture as well as the finest Hansik ingredients from the Korean peninsula. Our non-profit initiatives will include critical issues that face the restaurant industry at large from environmental to equity to cultural. We invite you to dine with us and explore our research and missions for a better future of fine dining.

Where Innovation Takes Root

SHIA will plant the seed for innovation in fine dining, conducting on-site research with both our in-house team and university partners to find strategies that get us closer to viable zero-gas, zero plastics, and zero waste solutions in the hospitality industry.
