SHIA is a modern Korean fine dining restaurant in Washington D.C. focused on sustainability and innovation. We are a tasting menu only restaurant with ingredients that span our local agriculture as well as the finest Hansik ingredients from the Korean peninsula. Our non-profit initiatives will include critical issues that face the restaurant industry at large from environmental to equity to cultural. Where Innovation Takes Root
SHIA will plant the seed for innovation in the restaurant industry, conducting on-site, real-time research with in-house researchers and university partners to solve for zero-gas kitchens, zero plastics and waste reduction.
Our 23-seat dining room accommodates two seatings per night.
The 7-course tasting menu costs $165/person, pairings are an
additional $65/person.
